Platform FAQ
What is Sharp Scoring?
Sharp Scoring is the competition management platform built specifically for barber shows. Scoring, check-in, timers, and results all run live — synced across every phone in the room the moment something changes. No paper. No guessing. No delays.
How the System Works
Every Show Has a Code
Each competition is identified by a unique 6-character show code — like TSBC25. The owner creates it when setting up the event. That code is your key into everything: scores, check-in, the timer, results.
Staff Use a PIN — Competitors Use Email
Staff (Owner, Judges, Host, Check-In) — Open the show link, pick your role, enter your 4-digit PIN. The owner provides the link and PIN before the event.

Competitors — Register with name, email, and a password. Log in the same way to view results.

PINs are private to each show. The owner shares them directly with each staff member before the event.
Everything Updates Live
When a judge submits a score, the audit updates. When the owner switches rounds, all judges see it instantly. When results are released, competitors see their full breakdown in seconds.
The Two Rounds
1
Round 1 — Stage Performance
Judges score while the competitor works. Criteria vary by category, but typically include Sanitation, Technique, Difficulty, and Overall — each 1–10. Max 40 pts. Judges can add stage notes and flag a Nick Watch.

Round 2 — Up Close Inspection
Judges score the finished cut up close. Criteria typically include Fade/Technical Quality, Creativity, and Overall. Deductions apply for nicks (0, –1, –3, or –5) and enhancement issues (0 to –5). Max 30 pts, can go negative. R1 notes appear as a blue reminder.
Combined Score Determines Placement
R1 + R2 = final total. Tiebreakers: R2 total first, then R1 total. The owner can also configure custom tiebreaker questions for any remaining ties.
Competition Categories
Each show activates the categories it needs. Scoring criteria are automatically adjusted per category — judges always see the correct rubric for what they're evaluating.

Common Questions
What if a judge loses connection?
Scores are saved the moment a judge taps Submit. As long as they submitted before losing connection, the score is recorded. Judges can also lock their round to freeze scores and prevent accidental changes.
Can one show run multiple categories at the same time?
Yes. Each category has its own competitor list, timer, and results. The owner assigns judges to specific categories so each judge only sees their assigned competitors. All categories run under the same show code.
Can two people share a judge slot?
No. Sharing a PIN means both people write to the same judge record, overwriting each other. The owner can activate up to 12 judge slots — use separate slots for separate people.
Can results be un-released after publishing?
Yes. The owner can un-release any category from the Send Results tab. Competitors see "Not yet released" again until the owner re-releases.
Does Sharp Scoring work without internet at the venue?
No — live sync requires an internet connection. If a judge loses connection mid-show, any score they submit after reconnecting will still record correctly. For offline emergencies, the owner can use Manual Score Entry to input scores directly.
You Built This Show
Sharp Scoring is your command center — from competitor registration to final results. You control every role, every round, and every release. Everything your staff and competitors see flows through you.
Before the Show
1
Create Your Show
From the Shows page, tap + Create New Show. Enter the name, date, city, and organizer. A unique 6-character code is generated automatically. Set your entry fee and vendor booth fee here — these feed directly into your Analytics tab.

Code: TSBC25
2
Share Your Links and QR Codes
From the Home tab, tap Copy Staff Join Link for judges, host, and check-in. Tap Copy Competitor Sign-Up Link for registrations. Or tap Open QR Codes Page to print all three codes for the venue — staff, competitor sign-up, and TV display.
Print the QR codes page and place it at your check-in table. Staff scan one code, competitors scan another, and the TV picks up its own — nothing gets lost in a group chat.
3
Configure Judges
Open Show Settings from the Home tab. Set how many judge slots are active (1–12), designate the Lead Judge (they confirm Top 3 placements), and optionally allow judges to self-switch their own round. Assign specific categories to each judge so they only see their competitors.

4
Go Live
Open Show Settings → Show Status → Live Now. This publishes your show as active on the public directory. Use the Home tab's Quick Actions throughout the day — they give you instant access to every major function without navigating through tabs.
5
Switch Rounds — One Tap, All Judges
When you're ready to move from Round 1 to Round 2, toggle the round in Settings. All active judges switch instantly — their scoring forms update live on their phones. No announcements needed.
If judges are scattered across categories at different stages, use the Judge Category Assignment to put each judge in Round 2 individually rather than switching everyone at once.
6
Monitor the Audit Tab
The Audit tab shows a full real-time grid — every judge, every competitor, every category, both rounds. See at a glance who has scored, read any judge's notes, spot pre-comp inspection flags (📋), and catch scoring issues before results go out. Tap any note icon to read the full note.
7
Confirm Top 3, Then Release
Once the Lead Judge confirms the Top 3 for a category from their Confirm tab, go to Send Results and tap Release Results. Competitors immediately see their full score breakdown — every judge, every criterion, their placement. You can un-release at any time for corrections.
Release one category at a time. Hold Taper results while Fade & Beard is still finishing — you control every moment.
Analytics — Revenue Snapshot
The Analytics tab in your Show Owner Dashboard tracks your show's financial picture in real time. Set your entry fee and vendor booth fee when creating the show — the numbers update automatically as competitors check in and vendors are accepted.

How Revenue Is Calculated
Competitor Revenue — checked-in competitors × your entry fee (set in Show Settings).

Vendor Revenue — accepted vendors × your booth fee (set when managing vendors).

Sponsor Commitments — sum of all confirmed sponsor amounts entered in the Sponsors tab.

Ticket Link Clicks — tracked each time someone taps "Buy Tickets" on your public show page. This is not a sales count — it's a click count.
Revenue figures are estimates based on the fees you set. They do not reflect actual collected payments — track those separately with your payment processor.
Breakdown by Category and Vendor
Below the revenue summary, the Analytics tab shows a category-by-category breakdown of registered and checked-in competitors, a list of accepted vendors with their booth fees, and each confirmed sponsor's commitment amount.
Emergency & Power Tools
Manual Score Entry — Offline Backup
If a judge loses their phone or can't get connected, you can enter their scores manually. From Quick Actions → Manual Score Entry: pick the judge, category, competitor, and round — then enter scores just like a judge would. Written scores are flagged as manual in the audit for transparency.
Use only as a last resort for genuine offline emergencies. Manual entries have the same weight as live scores — they affect final totals immediately.
Print Judge Score Sheets
Tap Print Judge Score Sheets from Quick Actions to open printable backup paper score sheets. These have pre-printed rubrics and bubbles for every category — a true paper backup if connectivity is a concern.
Full Reset
Only available to the owner. Full Reset → Clear All & Start Fresh permanently wipes all competitors, scores, and results for the current show. This cannot be undone. Use only if you need to restart from scratch before the show begins.
Full Reset is permanent. All competitor records, scores, and results are deleted immediately. There is no confirmation email — only the in-app warning dialog.

Owner FAQs
How do I add a walk-in competitor day-of?
From the Check-In tab, tap + Add / Walk-In Competitor. Fill in their name, Instagram handle, category, and competitor number. They appear immediately on the check-in list and in judges' forms.
Can I change a competitor's category after registration?
Yes. From the Check-In tab, tap the edit (✏) icon next to their name. Change the category and save. Any scores already entered for their old category remain in the system but won't count toward the new category's results.
What does the Lead Judge do?
The Lead Judge sees the score totals and reorders the Top 6 to confirm the final Top 3 placements. They submit from the Confirm tab. Once confirmed, you release the results as owner. You can always reassign which judge slot is the lead from Show Settings.
How does the tiebreaker work?
Default tiebreaker order: R2 total first, then R1 total. If still tied, the Lead Judge uses the Confirm tab to manually set the final order. You can also configure up to 3 custom tiebreaker rules in Show Settings, including a custom question for the Lead Judge to use as a deciding criteria.
You Set the Standard
Your scores shape every result. Sharp Scoring keeps you focused on the craft — not paperwork, not clipboards, not trying to remember what you wrote five competitors ago.
Getting Started
1
Get Your Info from the Show Owner
The owner will send you a show link and tell you your judge slot (Judge 1, Judge 2, etc.) and your 4-digit PIN. Save the link to your phone's home screen before the show day.
You may be assigned to specific categories only — you'll only see those competitors. Check with the owner if you're unsure which categories are yours.
2
Log In and Find Your Competitors
Open the show link. Tap Judge, select your number from the grid, enter your PIN. You'll land on the Score tab. Tap a category chip at the top, then a competitor chip to open their form.

Scoring Criteria by Round
Criteria are automatically set by the system based on which category you're judging. You always see the correct rubric — no guessing which criteria apply.
Round 1 — Stage (most categories)
Sanitation — station setup, clean tools, proper caping
1–10
Technique — clipper control, guard selection, efficiency
1–10
Difficulty — ambition and complexity of what's attempted
1–10
Overall Stage Performance — composure, purpose, professionalism
1–10
Max 40 pts · Add stage notes · Flag Nick Watch if needed
Round 2 — Up Close (most categories)
Fade / Technical Quality — graduation, skin work, transitions
1–10
Creativity / Detail — design, line work, finishing
1–10
Overall — full picture, completeness, polish
1–10
Nicks — 0, –1, –3, or –5 points
Enhancement / Color Issue — 0 to –5 points
Max 30 pts before deductions · R1 notes shown as blue reminder
Criteria vary for special categories. For example: Freestyle Design and Female Only Freestyle emphasize spontaneity and original design; Creative Cut emphasizes creative vision; Beard Sculpting focuses on razor technique and shaping; Student categories adjust standards for experience level. The app always shows the correct criteria for the category you're scoring.
Special Flags
🚫 Reference Violation — Freestyle & Female Only Freestyle
These categories require in-the-moment, reference-free design. If you see a competitor using a reference image, pre-drawn stencil, or any pre-planned template on the model, tap the Reference Violation 🚫 toggle in Round 1.

A violation deducts –10 points from the competitor's score. A red banner appears on their R2 form as a reminder. The violation is visible in the audit for the owner's review. Notify the show owner immediately if you flag one.
Nick Watch Flag
In Round 1, if you notice a potential nick or skin break, toggle Nick Watch. This carries the flag forward to Round 2 as a blue callout on the scoring form — a reminder to look closely at that area during up-close inspection. It does not automatically apply a deduction; nicks are formally scored in R2.
Pre-Competition Model Inspection
Before a competitor goes on stage, judges can perform a model inspection. The form (collapsible at the top of the score card) records: Was the model pre-cut? Are there pre-existing marks? A description. This is logged permanently and shown back in Round 2 for context. It protects competitors from being penalized for marks that existed before the competition began.
Managing Your Round
Switching Between Rounds
When the owner switches to Round 2, your scoring form updates live — no action needed. If the show allows judge self-toggle, you'll see a round switch button in the score form header to switch your own round independently.
If you're the Lead Judge or Host, switching rounds from the score form switches ALL judges simultaneously. Other judges' forms update instantly.
Lock Your Round When Done
Tap Lock when you've finished scoring a round for a category. Your scores are frozen — no accidental changes. If a genuine correction is needed, ask the owner to unlock from their Settings.
Judge Dashboard
Your Professional Profile
Beyond scoring, Sharp Scoring gives judges a personal dashboard at /dashboard-judge.html. Build your public profile — bio, certifications, specialties, social links — so show owners scouting judges can find you. Apply to upcoming shows directly from your dashboard.
Certification Badge
Judges who complete training and meet certification criteria earn a Sharp Scoring Certification badge visible on their public profile. Certified judges are highlighted to show owners browsing the judge directory.
What You Get
◆ Nothing Lost
Scores save the instant you submit. A dead phone after submission changes nothing.
◆ Notes Follow You
Your R1 notes and nick flags appear in Round 2 automatically as a blue reminder.
◆ Auto Rubric
The system sets the correct criteria per category — you never score the wrong rubric.
◆ Instant Round Switch
When the owner calls Round 2, your form updates live. No announcements needed.
Judge FAQs
I submitted a score by mistake — can I change it?
If you haven't locked the round, you can go back to the competitor's form and resubmit. The new score overwrites the previous one. If you've locked the round, ask the show owner to unlock it for you.
What if I'm judging the wrong category?
Contact the show owner — they can update your judge category assignment from Show Settings. Your previously submitted scores stay on record; new scores will go to the correct category.
How do I know my scores went through?
After submitting, the competitor's chip turns gold with a checkmark (✓). The audit tab on the owner's side also shows your score immediately. If you see the checkmark, the score is in.
Can I see the other judges' scores while scoring?
No. Scores from other judges are hidden from you while scoring to prevent bias. You can only see your own submitted scores. Only the owner (via Audit tab) sees all scores in real time.
You Control the Energy
As the host, you're the voice of the room. Sharp Scoring keeps you in perfect sync with the owner, the judges, and the clock — so you can keep your eyes on the crowd, not your phone.
Logging In
1
Open the Show and Log In as Host
Open the staff link the owner sent. Tap Host, then enter your PIN (0000 by default). You'll have access to the timer, round controls, staff notes, and a live score overview.
Running the Show
2
The Timer Tab Is Your Stage Clock
The Timer tab shows a live countdown synced across everyone in the show. You can Start, Pause, Resume, and Reset the clock. For the Student category, tap +5 Min to grant the optional time extension. The timer feeds the TV display automatically — what you see is what the room sees.
The live bar at the top of your screen always shows the current category and time remaining — you never have to stay on the Timer tab to know where the clock stands.
3
Round Control
As host, you can switch all judges between Round 1 and Round 2 — same as the owner. When the owner gives you the cue, tap the round toggle to switch all judges at once. Their forms update instantly on their devices.
4
TV Display
From the Timer tab, tap Open TV Display to launch the projector/TV screen. It shows a full-screen countdown, the competitor list for the current category, and the current round. The display updates live — you don't need to touch it once it's on screen.
5
Staff Notes — Coordinate Without Breaking the Room
The Notes tab is a real-time message feed visible to all staff (owner, judges, host, check-in). Send quick messages without shouting across the venue or stepping away from the mic. Unread messages show a badge count so nothing gets missed.
What You Get
◆ Live Sync
Timer, round status, and competitor list always current — no refreshing.
◆ Round Control
Switch all judges between rounds instantly without waiting for the owner.
◆ Team Chat
Staff notes keep everyone coordinated without phone calls or shouting.
◆ TV Control
Launch and manage the projector display from the same screen you're using.
You're the First Impression
A smooth check-in sets the tone for the whole show. Sharp Scoring makes it fast — no paper lists, no pen marks, no confusion over who's here and who isn't.
Getting Set Up
1
Log In as Check-In Staff
Open the staff link from the show owner. Tap Check-In, enter your PIN (9999 by default). You'll land directly on the Check-In tab with the full competitor list.
Running Check-In
2
Mark Competitors as Present
As competitors arrive, find their name in the list — filter by category tab or search by name. Tap their row to toggle them checked in. The counter updates live on the owner's Home tab and judges' displays the moment you tap.
Ask competitors for their competitor number — it's faster than searching by name, especially when it's loud and busy.
3
Walk-In Competitors
If someone arrives who didn't pre-register, let the show owner know — they can add the competitor from the app. The new record appears in your list instantly. You check them in the same way.
You don't add walk-ins yourself — that's the owner's action. Your job is to check in whoever is on the list and flag anyone who shows up outside of it.
4
Staff Notes
Use the Notes tab to send messages to the owner or host without leaving your station. Tap the Notes tab, type your message, send. All staff see it with a badge alert for anything unread.
This Is What You Trained For
Sharp Scoring keeps the competition clean and transparent. You'll know exactly how every judge scored you, what deductions were applied, and where you placed — the moment results go live.
Before the Show
1
Register Online
Open the competitor sign-up link from the show owner, or scan the QR code at the venue. Enter your name, email, Instagram handle, and city. Set a password — you'll use it to view results. Select your category (or categories — a separate registration is created for each).
Use an email you actually check. Your results are tied to your login — you'll need it after the show.
2
Read and Sign the Liability Release
Registration includes a digital liability and image release acknowledgment. Scroll through, check all three boxes, and sign electronically. Your signature is recorded with a timestamp.
3
Save Your Competitor Number
After registering, your confirmation screen shows your competitor number. Screenshot it. Judges call competitors by number on stage — know yours before you walk up.
On Show Day
4
Check In on Arrival
Find the check-in table when you arrive. Give your name or competitor number to the check-in staff — they'll mark you as present. The owner and judges see your status update live.
5
Pre-Competition Model Inspection
Before going on stage, a judge may do a quick model inspection — checking for pre-existing marks or pre-cut work. This gets logged and shown back in Round 2. It protects you from being penalized for anything that was already on your model before the competition started.
If your model has any pre-existing marks or cuts, make sure the judge documents them in the inspection. This is your protection.
After the Competition
6
View Your Results
Open the competitor sign-up link again (or scan the QR code) and log in with your email and password. Tap My Results. Once the owner releases results for your category, you'll see your full score breakdown — every judge's R1 and R2 scores for every criterion, all deductions, and your final placement.
7
Public Results Tab
Even without logging in, anyone can view the Public Results tab to see the Top 3 placements for released categories. After viewing results, you can also submit show feedback — a star rating and message — visible to the show owner.
Competitor FAQs
I forgot my password — what do I do?
Contact the show owner. They can locate your competitor record and help you access your results. There's no self-service password reset — your password was set during registration and is stored securely as a hash.
My results aren't showing yet — is something wrong?
Results only appear after the show owner releases them for your category. This happens after the Lead Judge confirms the Top 3. You'll see "Awaiting Results" until that release happens — no need to refresh, it updates automatically when they're live.
Can I compete in multiple categories?
Yes. Select multiple categories during registration — a separate competitor record is created for each one. You'll receive a different competitor number for each category.
I registered but my name isn't on the check-in list.
Find the show owner or check-in staff. If your email matches a manually-added record, the system automatically links your registration. If it doesn't, the owner can add you as a walk-in or locate your record manually.
Your Brand Belongs Where the Best Barbers Are
Sharp Scoring connects vendors with the barber competition circuit. Build your profile once — show owners scouting their next event can find you, reach out, and book you directly.
Getting on the Platform
1
Create Your Vendor Profile
At /vendor.html, build your vendor profile with your brand name, product specialty, location, contact info, and a short bio. This is what show owners see when browsing the vendor directory.
2
Apply to Shows
Browse upcoming shows and submit a vendor application. Applications go to the show owner for review. When accepted, your brand is listed on the show's public page as a participating vendor.
3
One Profile — Every Show
Your vendor profile persists across all shows on Sharp Scoring. Build it once. As more shows join the platform, your profile is visible to all of them — no reapplying from scratch each time.
Your Vendor Dashboard
Track Your Applications
Your Vendor Dashboard at /dashboard-vendor.html shows all your show applications and their current status — Pending, Accepted, or Denied. When accepted, you'll see the show details, booth fee, and owner contact information.
The Right Model Makes a Winning Cut Complete
Sharp Scoring connects models with competitors preparing for shows. Your profile is your booking page — one place for competitors to find you and reach out directly.
Building Your Profile
1
Create Your Model Profile
At /dashboard-model.html, build your profile with your name, city, hair specifications (type, length, texture), availability, and contact info. Competitors searching for models see your card and can reach out directly — no middleman.
2
Get Booked for Shows
As competitors register for upcoming events, they browse the model directory for their category requirements. When they find a match, they contact you directly. Add your Instagram handle and preferred contact method to make it easy.
Update your hair specifications regularly — a competitor searching for specific hair length or texture will only find you if your profile reflects your current look.
3
One Profile — All Shows
You build your model profile once. Every competitor across every show on Sharp Scoring can discover and contact you. More shows joining the platform means more exposure for your profile.
Platform FAQ
Sharp Scoring is a software platform — not an event organizer, ticket seller, or prize distributor. Read these before using the platform so you understand where our responsibilities start and stop.
Sharp Scoring's Role
What exactly is Sharp Scoring responsible for?
Sharp Scoring provides the software platform — scoring tools, check-in, timers, results display, and communications between staff and competitors. We are a technology provider only. We do not organize events, collect entry fees, award prizes, verify venue information, or make any decisions about competition outcomes. Everything that happens at a show is the sole responsibility of the show organizer.
Is Sharp Scoring the event organizer?
No. Sharp Scoring is not affiliated with any specific competition, show, or event organizer. We provide tools that event organizers choose to use. All questions about a specific show — dates, location, rules, entry fees, prizes — should be directed to the show owner, not to Sharp Scoring.
Does Sharp Scoring handle ticket sales or entry fees?
No. Sharp Scoring does not process, collect, or hold any ticket revenue or competitor entry fees. Ticket links on show pages link to external ticketing platforms managed by the show owner. Any financial transactions related to attending or competing in a show are solely between you and the show organizer. If you have a payment dispute, contact the show owner directly.
Show Owner Responsibilities
Who is responsible for the venue address and event details listed on a show?
The show owner is solely responsible for all event details they publish — including the venue name, address, date, time, and any other event information. Sharp Scoring displays whatever the owner enters without verifying its accuracy. Always confirm event details directly with the show organizer before traveling to a venue.
Who decides what categories are offered and the rules for each?
The show owner controls which competition categories are active for their event and sets any category-specific rules, time limits, and requirements. Sharp Scoring provides the framework and standard rubrics, but the owner has the authority to modify how their show operates. If you have questions about a specific category's rules, ask the show owner before competing.
Who is responsible for prizes?
Prizes — including cash awards, trophies, products, or any other compensation — are entirely the responsibility of the show owner. Sharp Scoring does not guarantee, fund, or distribute any prizes. If a prize is promised at a show and not delivered, that dispute is between you and the show organizer. Sharp Scoring has no involvement in prize arrangements.
What if the show is canceled or the owner changes the event?
Show cancellations, postponements, location changes, and rule changes are entirely within the show owner's authority and responsibility. Sharp Scoring is not liable for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from changes to a show. Contact the show owner directly for refunds or other accommodations if an event is changed or canceled.
Scores & Results
Can I challenge or dispute a score?
Scoring decisions are made by judges appointed by the show owner. Sharp Scoring records and displays scores exactly as judges enter them — we do not modify, adjust, or override any scores. If you believe a score is incorrect or a judge made an error, raise the concern with the show owner or head judge during the event. Once results are released, Sharp Scoring cannot change scores on behalf of any competitor.
What if I believe the results are unfair or the judging was biased?
Sharp Scoring provides a transparent audit trail — the owner, lead judge, and host can all see every score in real time. If you believe judging was unfair, bring your concern to the show owner during the event. Sharp Scoring records all judge inputs but has no authority over judging standards, judge selection, or result disputes. Those decisions belong to the event organizer.
Are scores permanent? Can they be changed after the fact?
Scores submitted by judges are recorded permanently in real time. The show owner can unlock a judge's round to allow a correction during the event, but this is only possible with the owner's explicit action. Once a category's results are released and the show is marked complete, Sharp Scoring does not facilitate post-event score modifications.
Reviews & Feedback
What is the show feedback / review system?
After a show's results are released, anyone — attendees, competitors, or spectators — can submit a star rating (1–5) and a written comment from the Public Results tab on the competitor sign-up page. Feedback is visible to the show owner in their dashboard Inbox. Feedback is not publicly displayed to all users — it goes directly to the organizer as a private performance signal.
Can I dispute or remove a review left about my show?
Show owners can contact Sharp Scoring support to request review of any feedback they believe violates our guidelines — including content that is threatening, defamatory, or clearly fraudulent. Sharp Scoring does not remove negative reviews simply because an owner disagrees with them. All feedback submissions pass through a profanity filter before being recorded, which blocks abusive language automatically.
I left feedback and it didn't post — why?
All feedback is screened by an automatic profanity filter before it's recorded. If your submission contained flagged language, it was blocked. Resubmit with appropriate language. If you believe your submission was incorrectly blocked, contact Sharp Scoring support.
Are judge ratings public?
Judges on the platform may accumulate ratings over time from shows they've participated in. These ratings are visible on a judge's public profile as an average score and are intended to help show owners make informed decisions when recruiting judges. Judges cannot remove their ratings, but they can contact Sharp Scoring support if they believe a rating was submitted in bad faith or violates platform guidelines.
Models & Hiring
Does Sharp Scoring vet or verify models listed in the directory?
No. Sharp Scoring does not verify the identity, qualifications, availability, or reliability of any model listed in the platform directory. Model profiles are self-submitted. Any arrangement between a competitor and a model — including compensation, scheduling, and show-day requirements — is entirely between those two parties. Sharp Scoring is not a party to and has no liability for any model booking agreement.
What if I have a dispute with a model I hired through the platform?
Sharp Scoring facilitates discovery — connecting competitors with models who have listed their availability. We are not involved in the hiring process, payment, or fulfillment of any agreement between a competitor and a model. All disputes between competitors and models are private matters that Sharp Scoring has no authority or ability to mediate or resolve.
Can I report a model who no-showed or acted unprofessionally?
You can contact Sharp Scoring support to report a model profile for conduct that violates our platform guidelines. Sharp Scoring may remove a profile after review if it is found to be fraudulent or harmful. We cannot compensate you for any losses from a no-show or other arrangement failure — those are matters to resolve directly with the model.
Privacy & Data
What data does Sharp Scoring collect about competitors?
Competitor registration collects: name, email address, Instagram handle, city, license type, phone number (optional), and a password stored as a one-way hash (we cannot read your password). This information is used to create your competitor record within the show and to display results. It is not sold to third parties. Show owners can see the registration data for competitors in their shows.
Does signing the liability waiver during registration bind me legally?
The liability and image release form completed during competitor registration is presented by the show organizer and your electronic signature is recorded with a timestamp. The legal effect of that agreement is between you and the show organizer. Sharp Scoring records and stores the acknowledgment as a service to the event organizer. If you have questions about what you agreed to, review the form text or contact the show owner.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Contact Sharp Scoring support with your name and email address to request removal of your data from the platform. Note that show owners maintain their own records — Sharp Scoring can remove platform-level data but cannot guarantee that an organizer's own records are deleted. Scores that are part of a show's permanent audit record may be retained in anonymized form.
Contact Sharp Scoring Support
For platform-level concerns, data requests, review disputes, or profile removal requests — contact us directly. Sharp Scoring support does not handle event-specific disputes; those must go to the show owner.

Note: Sharp Scoring is a software platform. All event-related decisions — prizes, results, categories, refunds — are the sole responsibility of the individual show organizer.
